This project was one between others as part of an exhibition I had along with other two amazing colleagues under the topic “Ronin”. A rōnin (浪人, “drifter” or “wanderer”) was a samurai without a lord or master during the feudal period (1185–1868) of Japan. A samurai became masterless from the death or fall of his master, or after the loss of his master’s favor or privilege.
In this image the Ronin is trying to find his path regardless the inconveniences and difficult situations he has to face.
This was a metaphor of the artists: even if society tells them how to live their lives, the artists decided to follow their own path. As the title says it, it is a tribute to the album from the music band Wu-Tang clan (that’s why he has the bee on his chest).

HOW DO I DECIDE HOW TO PRICE MY WORK ?
I certainly learnt a lot of lessons from time trying to figure out fair prices! As a result from experience I now print to order and I use a professional printer business who produces high end giclée art prints. Whilst this is not a cheap option it is a sensible one for me and means I don’t have unsold stock sitting around. Firstly, I factor the time in for creating the artwork which is often hard to work out. So I just came to an amount that I’d be happy with based on the time I’ve spent producing it, promoting it, paying for my website, paying for my art equipment, paying for the packing material and the time it takes me, scanning costs, paying delivery service costs to collect the prints sent to me by my printer, tax etc.
¿CÓMO DECIDO EL PRECIO DE MI TRABAJO? ¡Ciertamente aprendí muchas lecciones con el tiempo tratando de calcular precios justos! Como resultado de la experiencia, ahora imprimo bajo pedido y acudo a un negocio de impresión profesional que produce impresiones artísticas de alta gama. Si bien esta no es una opción barata, es una opción sensata para mí y significa que no tengo existencias sin vender. En primer lugar, considero el tiempo necesario para crear la obra de arte, que a menudo es difícil de resolver. Así que llegué a una cantidad con la que estaría contento en función del tiempo que he dedicado a producirlo, promocionarlo, pagar mi sitio web, pagar mi equipo de arte, pagar el material de embalaje y el tiempo que me toma, costos de escaneo, pago de costos del servicio de entrega para recolectar las impresiones enviadas por mi impresor, impuestos, etc.
