The main image that was made as a mural in Casa Picnic had to show something more attached to the new film. Certain natural scenes with mist, which achieve a gloomy and sinister atmosphere typical of the Great Plains due to its humidity, as well as the deformity that the clouds take on in the sky accompanied by some lightning when the alien arrives on Earth were elements that inspired me for the composition and creation of this image. As an extra piece of information, I added a ray coming down from the sky, inspired by the ray that covers the Predator from the second movie when he raises his precious trophy to the sky: the skull and thorn of his victim.
I also was asked to make some smallest interventions in specific spots to enhance the promotion of the film.

Spot placed between “Medellin”street & “Puebla” street
For the spot in the Zona Rosa I proposed Predador with its classic and already very representative invisibility camouflage. The idea came to me by taking the element of surprise from Predator by hunting its victims when they cannot spot it. So, I imagined that passers-by would pass in front of the mural without immediately noticing what was lurking until they saw it clearly, to give the spot dynamism and fun.
For the spot that is located in the Indie Rocks Forum, I was inspired by Predator's thermal vision, after seeing a reference to it in a scene from the game Grand Theft Auto V from 2013 in the mission called "Predator", where the player uses a sniper rifle equipped with a thermal imaging scope to search for targets in the woods, a reference to the way the Predator sees.
Initially, they had contemplated intervening in the “Mecado Sonora” spot in “La Condesa”, for which I’ve made a design inspired by the last scene of the movie “Predator 2”, where several skulls of different creatures can be seen as trophies. The Predator was looking at a market stall selling several of these skulls (including Alf's and E.T.'s). This idea came to me from Iron Maiden's song "The Mercenary", where he references the first Predator movie, with the lines "The Devil comes again to make trophies of men".
